Reports To: Director, Innovation & Technology
Role Overview
The Manager, Innovation & Technology, will support the Director in executing strategic initiatives that drive technological innovation and strengthen the Nigerian Fintech ecosystem. The role includes managing programs, partnerships, and technology platforms that foster innovation and enhance the Association’s operational efficiency and member value.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management and Execution
- Assist in planning and executing technology-focused programs, workshops, and events.
- Monitor program performance, gather feedback, and report results to stakeholders.
- Develop initiatives that support startups and Fintech firms in adopting innovative technologies.
- Ecosystem Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with startups, technology providers, research institutions, and investors.
- Facilitate collaborations and knowledge-sharing to address ecosystem challenges.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships that enhance innovation and capacity building.
- Technology Management
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology tools that improve member engagement and operational efficiency.
- Support the Director in identifying and deploying digital solutions for data management and decision-making.
- Ensure the security and reliability of the Association’s technology infrastructure.
- Innovation Development
- Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance the Fintech ecosystem.
- Contribute to designing programs that attract local and international investments in Nigerian Fintech.
- Support the development of resources and frameworks to promote thought leadership in innovation.
- Member and Stakeholder Support
- Respond to member inquiries related to technology and innovation programs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance member services through innovative solutions.
Key Qualifications and Competencies Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or
related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in innovation, technology management, or program coordination, preferably in the Fintech or technology sectors.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies like blockchain, AI, and cybersecurity.
