The Fintech Association of Nigeria (“FintechNGR or “Association”) is a self-regulatory, not-for-profit, and non-political organization incorporated in Nigeria. Our mission is to foster an ecosystem that supports all stakeholders to achieve a thriving and growing Nigerian Fintech industry. Guided by a vision to make Nigeria one of the world’s leading markets for Fintech innovation and investment, we serve as a unifying body for the Fintech ecosystem, advancing thought leadership, advocacy, and collaboration across stakeholders.
Role Overview
To drive the Innovation pillar through capacity-building, certifications, training, research, and thought leadership. This role strengthens Nigeria’s fintech talent pipeline and positions FintechNGR as an education and knowledge authority.
Key Responsibilities
a. Training & Certification Development
- Develop professional certification programs in fintech, compliance, risk, and emerging technologies.
- Manage curriculum creation, accreditation partnerships, and faculty
- Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) and course delivery processes.
b. Professional Services & Advisory
- Lead consulting, advisory, and technical assistance programmes to government and private sector.
- Build a pool of experts to support member organizations, regulators, and partners.
- Develop professional toolkits, frameworks, and industry guidance materials.
c. University & Youth Ecosystem Engagement
- Launch and manage fintech clubs in top
- Organize hackathons, challenges, and internship
d. Research & Insights
- Produce annual fintech industry reports and sector
- Build the association’s knowledge repository and insights
e. Programme Leadership
- Deliver masterclasses, workshops, and professional
- Develop partnerships with global learning
Qualifications & Skill Set
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Finance, or related
- Certification in training & development, curriculum design or project
- 7+ years experience in learning, HR development, or program
- Strong research, curriculum development and facilitation
- Experience in building education partnerships or edtech
